maximum board protection

Quite simply the strongest, simplest and most protective soft racks you can buy. The patented 'lockdown' system uses a single loop to pull both roofrack and boards down onto vehicle roof, virtually eliminating boards lifting up and down or moving side to side. With a breaking strain of 350kg, lockdown provides secure protection against the most extreme conditions including weather, high speed and windblasts from oncoming trucks. 25mm foam padding protects surfboard rails and there are 3 vehicle connection options. In order to seek find and surf you need to get your equipment there in one piece so whatever you do, don't cut corners on your racks.

  • 3 connection methods: thru-doors, loadbars or gutters/sills.
  • quick and easy to use with single tightening point.

  • zinc plated spring loaded camlock.
  • custom design solid steel loadhook with protective coating.
  • neoprene for protection.

tips for use
  • Reduce vibrations / wind noise by adding a twist to top straps before connecting.
  • Position camlock and hook away from rails of surfboards. Adjust by repositioning or changing length of strap.
  • for best tightening straps should be spread on surfboard rails.
  • always tie off straps around camlock to prevent unintentional release.
  • when removing surfboards via top hook ease tension on straps first by releasing camlock.
  • camlock is designed to bite into webbing. If stiff to release, pull on free strap to reduce tension while depressing camlock lever.
  • max load 6 shortboards or 3 longboards.
  • softracks may cause leakage in wet weather or possible damage to door rubber. To avoid this connect via an external means where possible, eg via vehicle gutters or loadbars.
